This is the complete base price list. Firms that give prices on request only usually have a reason.

What we do NOT charge extra for
- Blankets, straps, mattress covers, sack trolleys and tools
- Fuel and kilometres in the core area, up to 15 km
- Protection for the stairwell, floors and door frames
- Handing over the old flat besenrein (swept clean)
- Viewing and quote
- Part hours — we round to the half hour, never up to the full one
And what does NOT get added
- No surcharge on Saturday or Sunday. We work every day from 06:00 to 20:00, at the same price.
- No surcharge for end of month or summer — the dates everyone wants cost the same with us as a Tuesday in November.
- No express surcharge. If we have time tomorrow, tomorrow costs what it would cost in three weeks.
- The only thing that costs extra is what actually gets done on top: safe from CHF 270, furniture hoist CHF 325. Piano on request — we look at that one first.
There is no minimum charge. A single piece of furniture, three boxes, half an hour's work: we come anyway, and you pay for the time it took.
All amounts are final prices in Swiss francs. ZUMOVE is not registered for MWST (Swiss VAT), so nothing is added. The numbers here are guide prices — the binding one comes in writing, after we've been round.

Honest answers, even when they cost us money. Anything that isn't here, we'll answer in two minutes on the phone.
Do you charge by the hour or at a fixed price?
Both are possible; the standard is the fixed price after the quick look. If you'd rather pay for time spent, the hourly rate applies: from CHF 125 for 2 movers with a van, from CHF 155 for a team of 3 with a truck, from CHF 210 for a team of 4. A half hour started is billed as a half hour, never as a whole one.
How and when do I pay?
After the job you get an invoice with exactly the lines you saw in the quote beforehand — no new ones. You can pay by bank transfer, TWINT or cash. We ask for no deposit — not even on big clearances.
What does a move in Zürich actually cost?
A 2.5-room flat within the city usually comes to CHF 600 to 800, a 3.5-room flat CHF 870 to 1'160 — with a lift at both addresses. Without a lift, add CHF 60 per floor, at each address and capped at five. The price list shows every line on its own, and on the phone we work it through with you in ten minutes.
How do you get from the guide figure to a binding price?
The price list shows what we calculate with — hourly rate, flat fees, what costs extra. That turns into a price as soon as we've had a quick look: at your place, or in ten minutes on a video call, both free. What you then get in writing is a fixed price, and it holds as long as nothing changes in what you told us.
What is included in the hourly rate?
The vehicle, fuel, kilometres in the core area up to 15 km, blankets, straps, mattress covers, sack trolleys and tools, taking the normal furniture apart and building it up again, and the besenrein (swept clean) handover. On top comes only what you need on top: boxes, a furniture hoist, a Halteverbot (the permit that keeps the kerb outside free) or disposal. There is no fuel surcharge and no materials surcharge with us.
What happens if something gets damaged?
Tell us straight away, the same day. We record the damage with a photo and settle it instead of arguing. How we stand behind damage, you can have in writing before you book — just ask for it.
