A clearance is rarely a question of cubic metres. There's usually something behind it: a handover date coming closer. A cellar nobody has looked into for twenty years. Or a death in the family.
We clear cellar units, Estrich attics, garages, garden sheds and whole flats in Zürich, Uster, Winterthur and the surrounding area. We sort out what should stay, carry the rest out and dispose of it properly separated — with the receipt from the collection point, if you want it.
Besenrein (swept clean) isn't an extra line on our invoice. It's how every job ends.
Included in the fixed price for a clearance
- Clearing, carrying and hauling away — you lug nothing downstairs

You pick the type of room or the floor area and click the picture that matches how full it looks. Nobody can estimate cubic metres — so we don't even ask.

A quick look
For a cellar unit, two photos are enough. For a whole flat we come round, or you send us a video on WhatsApp. After that the fixed price is set, in writing.

Clearing
Half a day for a cellar unit, one to two days for a flat. We work fast — but we throw nothing away without asking first.

Handover
Besenrein (swept clean): the floor swept, nothing left in the corners. A final clean comes on top if you want it, from CHF 250 and as a separate line — ask for it before the date is fixed. What we don't give is an Abnahmegarantie (a guarantee that the flat passes the handover inspection): only a cleaning firm insured for it can honestly promise you that the property manager will sign the flat off.

What does it cost to have a cellar cleared in Zürich?
A small cellar unit starts at CHF 330. A large unit of 6 to 12 m² usually comes to between CHF 520 and 740, a single garage between CHF 980 and 1'420. What decides it is not the floor area but how full it really is — and only you can see that.
How am I supposed to estimate how much is in there?
Not in cubic metres at all. Nobody can do that, and neither can we off the top of our heads. Tell us the space — cellar unit, Estrich (attic storage), garage, flat — and how full it looks: loosely filled, normally furnished, full, stacked to the ceiling. That's enough for a first number. For the fixed price we take a quick look — two photos or a video are usually enough.
Where does the material go?
To the right collection point, sorted into metal, wood, electricals, Sperrgut (bulky waste) and cardboard. Not into the woods, not into the skip on the building site next door. On request you get the weighbridge ticket or a photo of the disposal — when a flat is being cleared on behalf of several heirs, that's often exactly the document that's needed.
Do I get anything credited for furniture that's still usable?
If there really are pieces worth reselling, we credit them and take the amount off the fixed price. But we can only judge that once we've seen it. Promising a figure for it on the phone would be dishonest — and you'd rightly hold it against us when it evaporated on the day.
Can you clear a flat after a death?
Yes. We go through with you beforehand what is to be kept or looked for — documents, photos, jewellery, letters — and set it aside instead of throwing it out. If you'd rather not be there on the day, tell us: we take care of the keys and get in touch as soon as the flat is empty.
