Disposal in Zürich: Sperrgut (bulky waste), furniture and appliances collected
The sofa nobody wants any more. The washing machine that only spins if you kick it. The mattress that won't fit in the boot and that the Sperrgutabfuhr (the council bulky waste collection) won't take.
We collect single pieces and dispose of them by the rules — with a price list you can read beforehand instead of hearing it over the phone. A CHF 100 collection fee plus the price per piece, no minimum charge, in Zürich, Uster, Winterthur and all around.

What does it cost to have a sofa disposed of?
A two- to three-seater costs CHF 75 plus the CHF 100 collection fee, so CHF 175 on the ground floor. A corner sofa is CHF 120 plus the collection fee. Floors without a lift we charge at CHF 30 per floor, counted up to a maximum of five.
What counts as Sondergut (hazardous waste)?
Paints, varnishes, solvents, oil, batteries and chemicals. That belongs at a special collection point and not in the ordinary skip. We take it with us and charge a flat CHF 150 for it — whether it's two tins or twenty.
Do I have to carry everything down?
No, that's the whole point. We collect it where it stands: flat, cellar, Estrich (attic storage) or garage. Large furniture we dismantle on the spot so that it fits through the stairwell.
